Just living is not enough”, said the butterfly. “One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.“

(Hans-Christian Andersen)

Many years ago someone said to me “There is a second person in each of us, who hasn´t spread their wings yet“. In Psychotherapy this could mean for you – metaphorically speaking – learning to spread your wings or develop from the old to the new. As a psychotherapist I will accompany you on your way to finding the solution that’s best for you.

The butterfly is a symbol of transformation and change. The process from the caterpillar to the butterfly can be compared with the process in psychotherapy. When you open up to face difficult situations and try to change, then your potential and talent can develop; like a caterpillar turns into a butterfly spreading its wings and developing a different outlook onto the world in order to reconquer it.

After many years of psychotherapeutic work nationally and internationally and in collaboration with diverse cultures, I can share the following insight – we humans are similar in certain aspects, regardless of where we come from, what language we speak or which job we do: it’s about the desire to be accepted, seen and valued.

Our skills and talents can be developed in the supportive and caring setting of a psychotherapeutic session.
